KORA Taller
Mexico City based design duo KORA Taller was started in 2022 by artist and philosopher Michel Gantous and industrial designer and musician Jerónimo Ezquerro. Together they seek to work transversally between disciplines to co-create both objects and experiences capable of melding utilitarian design with convivial interaction and sensorial exploration. Their first ever project, a coffee table come wooden tongue drum was presented at Inédito during Mexico City Design Week 2022, receiving an honorable mention for user experience and considered among the finalists for best overall project. KORA Taller has also been featured in magazines such as GLOCAL magazine and collaborated with a host of top Mexican musicians. Currently, the duo are exploring the potential for generating convivial-sensorial experiences through at-home lighting fixtures, tapping further into Latin American hosting and gathering traditions.
